Just like yesterday, it has been a year since singer Goldie Harvey left us. The sweet and kind hearted Goldie died few hours after arriving in Nigeria from the Grammy awards 2013. The lovely lady passed away at the age of 31 years.
I still remember the shock and disbelieve i had when i learned of her death on valentine's day while celebrating my last birthday. Hurt so much that such a young and charming lady with a golden heart had been snatched away by the cold hands of death. One year later, it is still so sad and heartbreaking but as Christians, we have found solace in the word and promise of God that Bimpe 'Goldie' Harvey is in a better place. Love you forever Goldie and sleep on.
A music video for the song 'Remembered' in honour of Goldie by her friend and record label mate was released today.
