Rave of the moment Lupita Amondi Nyong'o was born on the 1st of March 1983 (31 years old) in Mexico city, Mexico.
Lupita was born to the family of Dorothy and Kenya's former Minister of Medical Services Peter Nyong'o both Kenyans.
She was named after our Lady of Guadalupe of the catholic faith. Lupita and her family later moved back to Kenya when she was 1 year old and she grew up in her homeland.

Lupita got the role of Patsey in the movie '12 years a slave ' as a slave who begged for her life to be ended after so much suffering. The movie also starred Nigeria’s own Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Her spectacular performance has won her so many well deserved awards and most notably the 2014 Oscar awards as The Best Supporting Actress, an award lots of older and more experienced actors are yet to receive.
Lupita Nyong'o is true definition of God's favour and blessing. This is a young lady who might not have Hollywood's IT factor when it comes to looks and even complexion, yet she has gotten standing ovations from everyone and the high and might identify with her.
Her speech and intelligence stands her out for good. Her life has been an inspiration to all young women, especially the African/Black community. Lupita has made us believe that no matter where you come from, you can be successful if you follow your dreams relentlessly.
Lupita has been a true definition of African beauty, her dark and glowing skin shines like a thousand stars just like her talent and well mannered life.
Let me leave you with part of Lupita's inspiring acceptance speach at the Oscar awards,
“When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid”
ohh how i love her
