Sad End of Forbidden Passion Actress Monica Spear

Since the introduction of the television station Telemundo to DSTV and GOTV subscribers, many people have been hooked to the soap operas being aired. 

Recently more new soap operas were aired and one which stands out is Forbidden Passion
which star Jencarlos Canela (Andre of My heart beats for Lola) and Monica Spear. What most people do not know is that the beautiful actress is dead. 

Monica Spear who plays the character of Bianca the wife of the rich old man was also a beauty queen. She was Miss Venezuela in 2004 and the fourth runner up in Miss Universe in 2005. 

Monica got married to British businessman Thomas Henry Berry in 2008 and the couple welcomed their only child and daughter in 2009. They divorced in 2013 and remained friends and were considering getting back together before their life was cut short on the same day.

On January 6, 2014, Spear was in her native Venezuela on vacation with her ex-husband and their five-year-old daughter. On a highway in central Carabobo, when the three were inside their car waiting for assistance after the vehicle had broken down, Spear and her ex-husband were killed during an attempted robbery and their daughter shot and wounded in the leg. The police reported that the incident occurred around 9 or 10 p.m. It has been theorized that
the thieves tried to rob them and the couple tried to resist.

Rallies were held in Venezuela in honour of her violent end and the funeral service in honour of her and her ex-husband was filled with so many heartbroken fans. The killers of Monica and Thomas were later apprehended when the camera of the deceased was found in the house of some suspects during police search and the
case is still in court.

So many lives have been cut short because of gun violence and it is so sad. 

Monica might have lived a short 29 years but she touched lives positively and followed her dreams of becoming an actress and beauty queen. She also gave life to little Maya who sadly does not know her parents are dead.

I pray God protects us, grants us long life and wisdom to handle dangerous situations when faced with it.
