Jessica Bongos-Ikwue is from Otukpo, Benue State and was born in Lagos. Her dad the legendary musician Bongos Ikwe usually gathered his family around the living room to play the guitar and render beautiful songs. Having grown up in a home where music was second nature, it is no wonder Jessica choose to follow her dreams and share her talent with the world.
Jessica Bongos who is a passionate Jazz and Soul musician just released her EP (extended play that contains different songs but not a complete album) titled “Unscathed”. The EP contains five tracks mainly soul and jazz music. Perfect songs for any lover of good music. The EP was produced by Atta Lenell an amazing promoter.
Jessica Bongos is not just any musician but a one of a kind and once in a life time songstress.
“Music has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Instruments always intrigued me, especially the bass guitar. Music touches the deepest part of my soul. It is to me, the most beautiful artistic expression of feelings that people can relate to on a daily basis”, she said.
