'He poses an increasingly violent danger to society': Prosecutor tries to have Chris Brown thrown in jail... but star is freed on the condition he remains in rehab

It is another day, another Chris Brown court case. I hope this issue gets sorted out soon. Chris has been in and out of court since he assaulted Rihanna while they were dating a couple of years back.

Yesterday he had another court hearing and was accompanied by girlfriend Karrueche.
Ceelo Green was also in court for his possession of ecstasy hard drugs.
You can read about all that happened below according to Dailymail.

It appeared he could be thrown in jail over alleged altercation with a man in Washington D.C last October.
But Chris Brown was spared a term behind bars after a judge freed him on the condition he stays in rehab, despite the fact he is facing an assault charge over the incident.
The singer, who is still on probation over the 2009 beating he gave then girlfriend Rihanna, received his good news when he attended court, along with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, for a progress hearing in Downtown Los Angeles on Monday.

Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin cited his continued good behaviour and progress in a rehabilitation programme as his reason for turning down the prosecution's motion.
This was despite an aggressive statement from Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray, who called for the 24-year-old to be locked up and for a full probation violation hearing.
In a written motion she said 'he continues to pose an increasingly violent danger to society,' citing the D.C. case and an incident in which Brown threw a brick through his mother's car window after a therapy session.

If she had been successful it would have meant the fact he was sentenced to three months of in-patient rehab in November after being arrested and charged with misdemeanour assault over an altercation weeks earlier in Washington, D.C would have been heard by the court.
Miss Murray said she made the motion on Monday because she now had information about the man who claimed his nose was broken in the attack that allegedly involved Brown and his bodyguard.

Chris Brown remains quiet as he arrives at court in Los Angeles

Judge decides Chris Brown should remain in treatment
However the R'n'B star's attorney Mark Geragos claimed  the only changes in his behaviour since a December hearing were positive.
He also argued the court should wait to see how the D.C case is resolved before having an evidentiary hearing.
Brown's lawyers have said the singer is not guilty and rejected a plea deal, with the case due to be heard again on February 20.
Judge Bradlin made the decision after probation officials reported he is making good progress in treatment, and the convicted women beater must remain in the programme unless he is given permission by the court or his probation officer.
Had he adjudicator ruled the other way it would have resulted in evidence about the D.C. case being presented before him.

Brown remains on probation for his 2009 attack on his then-girlfriend Rihanna hours before the Grammy Awards.
He was ordered to return to court on February 28 to update the judge on his progress.
According to the evidence before the court, he has now completed 191 of 1,000 hours of community labour that were ordered after Judge Brandlin found the Grammy winner violated his probation after failing to exchange information properly after a car crash last year.
The lawman also said probation officials reported Brown 'appears to have a more serious and responsible demeanour' since checking into rehab.

Cee Lo Green arrives at court in Los Angeles
If Chris was the headline act at court on Monday, CeeLo Green was very much the support act.
The Voice judge arrived for the latest hearing of his felony ecstasy possession case.
The pint-sized 38-year-old, who has denied the charge, was in high spirits afterwards, revealing he had missed the Super Bowl as he had been flying in for the appearance, as well as insisting things were 'coming along' in his court battle.
He had originally been accused of drugging and raping a woman he had dined with, but prosecutors declined to file charges citing insufficient evidence.
The musician, real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway,  allegedly slipped ecstasy to a 33-year-old female while they were dining at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant sometime between July 13 and July 14, 2012, with the pair later going back to the woman's hotel.
