Fashion Police Joan Rivers On Life Support

My prayers go to Fashion Police host and comedienne Joan Rivers as she is yet to recover from coma. According to torontosun.com, Comedienne Joan Rivers is on life support as she remains in a medically-induced coma in a New York hospital, according to a report.

The veteran entertainer was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital on Thursday after she stopped breathing during a routine throat procedure at a nearby clinic.
Doctors placed her in a coma and had hoped to bring her back to consciousness this weekend, but sources tell TMZ.com the 81-year-old was on life support on Saturday  and could remain in the same condition for several days.

Rivers' daughter Melissa, whose family has gathered by the funnywoman's hospital bedside, released a new statement to Eonline.com on Friday, asking fans to keep her mum in their prayers.
The message read: "My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."

All About Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade's Royal Wedding

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are officially, well, a union. The Miami Heat guard and Think Like a Man actress were married as expected on Saturday in a lavish Miami ceremony.

Janine Rayford Rubenstein of People confirmed the nuptials, describing the guests as "an intimate crowd of family and friends." Wade and Union have been together off and on since 2009. The 10-time NBA All-Star proposed to Union in December.

"It's seriously awesome," Union said last year, per E! News' Brandi Fowler. "When you've been a couple for so long, people are like 'When's the baby!'... We both kind of rushed into marriage and neither one of us was successful at that, so we're both kind of like, let's take our time. If the goal is forever, what are we rushing for."

Wade, 32, was previously married to Siohvaughn Funches in 2002. The couple separated in 2007, and Wade eventually won custody of their two children in 2011 after a tense court battle. Union, 41, was previously married to former NFL player Chris Howard from 2001 to 2006.

Wade has three children from other relationships and has primary custody of his young nephew. Union and Howard did not have any children while married.

Their lavish event took place at the famous Chateau Artisan, a moated castle in one of Miami's most secluded areas, per TMZ. While guests and those working at the wedding were forced to sign confidentiality agreements—ones that included potential fines for guests who leak news to the press—details of the ceremony have slowly begun to emerge.

Singer John Legend performed at the ceremony, which had an upscale 1930s theme. Famed violinist Lee England Jr. was also tapped for a performance, according to a TMZ report. England and Wade knew each other from their time signed to Nike's Jordan Brand.

There were roughly 200 guests in total, the crowd littered with NBA stars and celebrities alike. Entertainer La La Anthony sent out an Instagram photo of her and husband Carmelo Anthony outside the estate:

"We celebrated AMAZING LOVE tonight....partied nonstop..gotta fix my baby's bowtie...LOL..love u @gabunion & @dwyanewade #thewadeunion," she wrote.

Also in attendance were Heat owner Micky Arison, Blazers forward Dorell Wright, Think Like a Man producer Will Packer and many others. As Arison highlighted in an Instagram post, there was a stand with the phrase "Hollywood as Hell" written where guests could take pictures. The reference, of course, is to a Joakim Noah quote from 2011 describing the Heat's former Big Three.

As for the two other members of the former Miami Big Three, at least one of the two was in attendance. Chris Bosh and his wife, Adrienne, sent out a pre-wedding photo, with the Heat forward saying he's ready to share "a special moment" with the newlyweds:
Regardless of the attendees, Wade and Union seemed more than satisfied on their big day. And given the positivity being shown on social media with the hashtag #TheWadeUnion—which was used by most guests throughout the evening—odds are they left satisfied as well.

Then again, it's pretty hard to be upset when you're partying in a castle with a moat.

Read How Dr. Adadevo bravely saved Nigerian lives from #Ebola

Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh of First Consultants Hospital has died from the Ebola Virus Disease, which she contracted after attending to Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian/American who brought the disease into Nigeria.

Dr. Adadevoh was infected when she forcefully restricted Mr. Sawyer to his bed after he tried to remove the drip administered on him.
Observers said, yesterday, that her action probably saved many Nigerian lives because, if Sawyer had succeeded in forcing himself out of the hospital, it would have been difficult to trace those who had contact with him.

According to reports, she went into a coma on Monday and despite the valiant battle by the medical team to save her life, she could not survive the scourge of the disease.
Over the weekend, reports had suggested that she had survived the disease and had been discharged from quarantine, until the Minister of health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu issued a
statement clarifying that she was not the survivor.

Although, there was high hopes that she would miraculously pull through, it didn’t become a
reality.

The late Dr. Adadevoh was the first grandchild of Mrs Sarah Idowu Abigail Adadevoh nee Macaulay, making her a great granddaughter of the late nationalist Herbert Macaulay described as the founder of Nigerian nationalism.

Her Father was Prof. Babatunde Kwaku Adadevoh, who was a grandson of the grand old man of Nigerian anti-colonial politics. He was also a physician.

Family Tree Genealogy website has Sarah Abigail Idowu Macaulay as the daughter of Herbert Macaulay. She went on to marry Adadevoh.
According to Family Tree, they have six children listed as follows;

Kwame Adadevoh, Kwaku Adadevoh, Stella Shade Ameyo Adadevoh, Charity Ronke Awoyo Adadevoh, Kowu Adadevoh and Awushi Adadevoh.

University Graduate Stands In Station With A Sign Promoting Himself In Bid To Find A Job

A UNIVERSITY graduate sick of getting nowhere in his job hunt took drastic measures today by standing in London's Waterloo station holding a sign promoting himself.

Alfred Ajani, a marketing graduate from Coventry University, applied for more than 300 jobs since April without any success.

So today the 22-year-old, who lives in Waterloo with his mother and stepfather, took the unusual step of advertising himself with a sign.

Mr Ajani stood in Waterloo station, holding the poster which read: "Marketing graduate (BA Hons 2:1 Coventry Uni) Ask for CV."

And the stunt seems to have paid off.
The former student told the Evening Standard: "At first it started a bit slow. A couple of hundred people walked by.
"But then the first woman approached me and said it was a creative idea.

"One guy even offered me a coffee. I think it has got better and better as the hours have passed.

"It looks like it is working so far."

Mr Ajani has now been offered job interviews for positions as far away as New York.

Echoing the feelings of many graduates, he said: "If everyone is saying we don't have experience, then I do not understand how we are supposed to get that experience."

He said that he has received many messages of support and encouragement since carrying out the stunt.

He said: "My mum is proud of me. She came down to the station and was hugging me and saying she hoped I could help support our family."

New Movie On The Death Of Musician Castro Who Drowned With His Lady Friend Set To Be Released

Castro’s Manager, DJ Amess is challenging the producer of “Castro Amanehunu”, a local movie telling the story of the sudden disappearance of the ace hip-life musician to release the movie.

The hip-life musician together with a lady friend went missing at the Ada estuary during jet skiing.

Even though posters of the movie are all over the place, the purported producer of the movie, Douglas Odame has denied the fact that such a movie has been shot, but he was quick to say the musician is not the only person by name Castro.

Douglas Odame further rubbished claims that the movie may play on the sensitivity of Ghanaians and Castro’s family, saying Castro’s photo doesn’t appear anywhere on the poster.

Speaking in an interview with Montie FM’s Eric Boateng on the Sunday Gospel Rock Show, Castro’s producer, DJ Amess, warned he will evoke curses on the producer of the movie if he (the producer) goes ahead to release the movie unto the market.

“Castro is not the first to have suffered this kind of fate. But my problem is when you try to capitalize on the incident to shoot movies and make money for your selfish interest. As for the producer of the movie God will judge him…but for the sake of God, I would have evoked curses on him,” he lamented.

He said it is time the citizenry moved away from pronouncing people dead before their time is due, citing rumors purporting the death of prominent people in the country which ended up as falsehoods.

DJ Amess is entreating all and sundry to support the family of Castro and Janet Bandu in this trying time and pray for the two to be found dead or alive.

Meanwhile, the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) have advised the producer of the movie to withdraw the yet to be released movie warning that failure to adhere to the directive will cause the total withdrawal of his certificate as a movie producer.
