Jehovah’s Witness Asks Members Not To Vote

As Nigerians prepare to elect  new leaders that will run the affairs of the country in the next four years, members of Jehovah’s Witness have been banned from participating in the electoral process and by implication, they are forbidden from voting for any candidate or contesting in any election.

They claimed that participating in an election was satanic and contrary to God’s commandment.

P.M.NEWS findings revealed that members of Jehovah’s Witness were warned not to obtain voter’s cards and that they should not vote during the elections.

The directive was not a mere order as any member found participating or voting during the elections will be excommunicated.

When our reporter spoke to some of the members who confirmed the directive, they claimed that the order was right because they are still waiting for the kingdom of God that is yet to be establshed on earth.

A minister in the congregation, James Uduok, explained that every member of Jehovah’s Witness knows that participating in election is satanic and contrary to the will of God.

Uduok said that the teaching of the Witness was strongly embedded in the Bible and all members must adhere strictly to the teaching or leave the congregation.

The members defended their decision not to vote or get involved in the electoral process by quoting  Mathew 6: 9 and Mathew 4: 8.

Mathew 6: 9 says: “This is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven may your holy name be honoured. May your kingdom come.”

To members of Jehovah’s Witness, this scripture implies that the kingdom of God has not come and they are still waiting for it to come.

Also, Mathew 4: 8 is a scripture that dwells on how the devil took Jesus to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and promised to give them to Him if He  bowed down and worshipped him. Members of Jehovah’s Witness claim that this world belongs to satan and insist that God’s kingdom has not yet come.

When our reporter sought the views of non members, especially pastors, their response was contrary to the teaching of the Witnesses.

Pastor Jude Chukwurah noted that their belief was strange because the same Bible mandated Christians to respect constituted authority.

“God recognises leadership and authority of leaders in the society,” he said.

Chukwurah said even in ages past, there was clamour for leaders as reported in the Bible and the people elected their leaders.

Another pastor, Michael James, said the Witnesses are misinterpreting the Bible and should be ignored.

He warned that their belief was not consistent with biblical teaching, adding that if such teaching is followed it could lead their members to imbibe false doctrine that could lead them to hell.

Crazy or Sane??? Find Out Why Kanye West Never Smiles

So many people have criticised Kanye West 's uptight look. Even though he is married to one of the most beautiful woman in the world and has a charming daughter, the rapper still wears a long face about. Just weeks after his wife Kim Kardashian West explained why she hardly smiles, Kanye has given his reasons too. Read what he said below.

According to Kanye, not smiling makes him smile and when you see old paintings in a castle the people on them are not smiling, sort of comparing himself to such paintings.

Kanye made this revelation at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, saying: “Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything. I looked at all these people’s photos, and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren’t smiling.

People, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, ‘Why you not smiling?’ and I think, not smiling makes me smile. When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling because it just wouldn’t look as cool.”

Wow! Israel Sued By African Lawyer For Killing Jesus

This is one of the most interesting news i have read in ages. After over 2,000 years that Jesus Christ was crucified, a Kenyan lawyer has filed a petition with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, suggesting that the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was unlawful, and the State of Israel among others should be held responsible, Kenyan news outlet the Nairobian reported on Friday.

According to jpost.com, Dola Indidis, a lawyer and former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary is reportedly attempting to sue Tiberius (emperor of Rome, 42 BCE-37 CE), Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel.

“Evidence today is on record in the Bible, and you cannot discredit the Bible,” Indidis told the Kenyan Citizen News.

Although those he suggests should have been convicted during the original trial have not been alive for more than 2,000 years, Indidis insists that the government for whom they acted can and should still be held responsible.

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidis told the Nairobian. “His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

Indidis apparently named the states of Italy and Israel in the lawsuit because upon the attainment of independence, the two states incorporated the laws of the Roman Empire, those in force at the time of the crucifixion.

He is challenging the mode of questioning used during Jesus’s trial, prosecution, hearing and sentencing; the form of punishment meted out to him while undergoing judicial proceedings and the substance of the information used to convict him.

The case was first filed in the High Court in Nairobi but was rejected. Indidis then applied to have it heard at the ICJ.

Indidis says he wants to establish what crime Jesus was charged with and prays that the court decides “that the proceedings before the Roman courts were a nullity in law, for they did not conform to the rule of law at the material time and any time thereafter.”

“Some of those present spat in his face, struck him with their fists, slapped him, taunted him, and pronounced him worthy of death,” Indidis told the Kenyan news website Standard Media (SDE).

When Jesus died, Indidis insists, he was not given an opportunity to be heard.

“I am suing as a friend,” he said.

Indidis insisted on the validity of his case, saying “I know with a matter of fact and truth we have a good case with a high probability of success and I hope it is done in my lifetime.”

When asked about the case, an official from the ICJ told legal news website Legal Cheek, “The ICJ has no jurisdiction for such a case. The ICJ settles disputes between states. It is not even theoretically possible for us to consider this case.”

Annie Idibia Storms Night Club After 2face Idibia Was Spotted Kissing Ex & Baby Mama Pero Adeniyi

Unknown to many Tuface and Pero Adeniyi the mother of his three kids have been in touch despite the fact that Tuface married Annie when Pero had just brought to bed his 6th child, their third together.

My source whispers that they are very very Good friends - for the sake of the children they have together.....
It is also whispered that Tuface is a lover of his kids and makes sure that all his Children from the three woman (Sunmbo,Pero and Annie) have contact with one another and he does not fail in his duty as Father to all his seven kids.
Anytime he is in America,he visits Pero and his kids and spends time with them but this does not go down well with his wife Annie Macualay.

According to insiders, ''Annie has been fighting Pero to stay away from Tuface and she does not want him to have any contact whatsoever with pero or the kids she had for him but the musician has turned a blind eye to her plea and this results in constant fights between them, forget all the instagram display you see''.

This kissing picture and others that looked cosy of Tuface and Pero together was ALLEGEDLY taken at Rumours nightclub on Sunday night of January 26,2015.

My source squeals further ''I dont know if they planned to meet there or it was a coincidence but Pero and Tuface were at the club together and Annie stormed in ready for a fight, infact she was ready to tear down the place because Tuface had not been home for days due to another bout of nagging on the pero issue.
Pero and Tuface were seated at the VIP section all cosy and laughing and having the time of their lives and when Annie stormed in,the club management sensed trouble and asked her to come with them into a room so that Tuface could join her there and talk things out.
But when Annie went into the room, she was locked in for some time and by the time she was let out,the fun was over and Pero had left whilst Tuface was about to leave.
The kissing pic you see up there (or down further depending on where you eyes are situated) was snapped when Annie was locked in...''

Sources claim that all is not well between Tuface and Annie because the frequent fight over Pero has taken a toll on their marriage and got worse when
Annie allegedly sent threatening mails to Pero and wouldnt let her be to the embarassment of her hubby.

let me explain it further exactly as it was recounted ''Anytime Annie and tuface quarelled, she blamed it on Pero and vented out her anger via phone calls or strongly worded emails cussing out Pero and calling her kids names...'

Sources claim that Pero who is currently in Nigeria on a business trip is not romantically entangled with Tuface in any way and has moved on with her love life but that the two are however best of friends.
I pray God gives tuface the strength to survive the drama in his life right now....
I pray God gives him the wisdom of Solomon in the bible to be able to handle all the women in his life without causing any pain....

King Abdullah Of Saudi Arabia Dies At 90

Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has died, royal officials have announced, weeks after he was admitted to hospital.
King Abdullah, who was said to be aged about 90, had been suffering from a lung infection.

A statement early on Friday said his 79-year-old half brother, Salman, had become king.
King Abdullah came to the throne in 2005 but had suffered frequent bouts of ill health in recent years.

Analysis: BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner
The official announcement from the Royal Court came as little surprise, but this is still a historic and sad moment for this deeply conservative Muslim country, home to the two holiest sites in Islam, at Mecca and Medina, and the world's biggest oil exporter and producer.
As king he pushed through cautious reforms, including giving women a greater public role, against opposition from religious conservatives.
King Salman assumes the throne at a difficult time for Saudi Arabia. Having defeated an Islamist insurgency 10 years ago, the country now finds itself sandwiched between the growing threats from al-Qaeda in Yemen to the south and Islamic State to the north. Both groups have their sympathisers inside Saudi Arabia.

King Salman had recently taken on the ailing monarch's responsibilities.
Before the announcement, Saudi television cut to Koranic verses, which often signifies the death of a senior royal.
The late king's half brother Muqrin, who is in his late 60s, has been named the new crown prince, the official statement said.
All three are sons of the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz, usually referred to as Ibn Saud, who died in 1953.
King Salman called on the royal family's Allegiance Council to recognise Muqrin as his crown prince and heir.
"His Highness Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and all members of the family and the nation mourn the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who passed away at exactly 01:00 this morning," the statement said.

The BBC's Frank Gardner says Saudi Arabia could face an increasing internal security problem following the death of King Abdullah
Following tradition, King Abdullah will be buried later on Friday in an unmarked grave.
US President Barack Obama expressed his personal sympathies and those of the American people, on the death of King Abdullah.
"As a leader, he was always candid and had the courage of his convictions. One of those convictions was his steadfast and passionate belief in the importance of the US-Saudi relationship as a force for stability and security in the Middle East and beyond," he said.
Vice-President Joe Biden tweeted that he would lead a delegation to Riyadh to pay respects.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron said King Abdullah would be remembered for his "commitment to peace and for strengthening understanding between faiths".
Jordan's King Abdullah II cut short a visit to Davos, Switzerland, to travel to Saudi Arabia, as Jordan's royal court declared 40 days of mourning.

King Abdullah: Key events
Believed born in Riyadh in August 1924, although actual date is disputed
His mother, Fahda, was the eighth of King Abdulaziz al-Saud's 22 wives
Appointed commander of the Saudi National Guard in 1963
Became crown prince and first deputy prime minister in 1982 when King Fahd succeeded King Khalid
Succeeded to the throne in August 2005 following the death of King Fahd
Obituary: King Abdullah

Abdullah was the 13th of the 37 sons of King Abdulaziz. He is believed to have been born in August 1924 in Riyadh, although there is some dispute about his actual birth date.
In 1962 he was appointed commander of the Saudi National Guard, where he earned the respect and loyalty of the desert tribes.
When he came to the throne in 2005 he succeeded another half-brother, Fahd.
However, he had already been Saudi Arabia's de-facto leader for 10 years because his predecessor had been debilitated by a stroke.
Correspondents say King Abdullah was seen as a reformer at home, albeit a slow and steady one.
He allowed mild criticism of his government in the press, and hinted that more women should be allowed to work.
King Salman spent 48 years as governor of Riyadh Province before becoming crown prince and defence minister.
BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner says it is thought unlikely that he will embark on any great changes.
In a recent meeting with the BBC in Jeddah, he appeared alert and well-briefed but walked with the aid of a stick, our correspondent adds.

30,000 Beijing Couples Apply To Have A Second Child

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning said on Tuesday that more than 30,000 Beijing couples have applied to have second child since the capital eased its one-child policy in February 2014.

Zhong Dongbo, the Deputy Head of the Commission, said in Beijing that out of the 30,305 applicants, 28,778 had been approved.

He said the number was, however, lower than the 50,000 expected, adding that “many couples who wanted to have second child chose not to have them this year, but this does not mean that they won’t have them in future.

“Maybe they’re just not ready, maybe it is due to economic cost or time cost or they are contented with one child.”

Dongbo said Beijing was prepared for an increase of 50,000 births every year.
He said an extra 1,000 beds would be arranged in Beijing hospitals within three years.
