Tracy Morgan In Critical Condition After Fatal Car Crash In New Jersey

Tracy Morgan remains in critical condition after he was involved in a car accident early on Saturday morning, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The former Saturday Night Live actor was traveling in a limo bus on the New Jersey turnpike when it was rear-ended by a big rig, causing a six-vehicle crash.

“The limo bus is the only vehicle that overturned,” Sgt. Gregory Williams told CNN.

“Looks like one of the tractor-trailers may have rear-ended that limo bus, but that’s preliminary at this time.”​

One person was killed — believed to have been a passenger in the limo bus — while seven others were hospitalized with injuries.

The 45-year-old actor and father of four remains in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as one of at least three in critical condition.

Morgan had a comedy gig​ Friday night at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Delaware.

The turnpike was closed for more than five hours and authorities continue to investigate, but do not think alcohol was involved.

Heartbreaking! Dr Dora Akunyili Passes On

The accomplished and exemplary life of a great African woman has come to an end. Professor Dora Akunyili has passed on at a young age, so sad and heartbreaking.

According to reports by PM news, Professor Dora Akunyili, former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and a former minister of Information has died. She was aged 59.

Dora died in an India Hospital, in Bangalore, Karnataka State where she has been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment, various reports quoted family sources as saying.

Former governor of her home state, Peter Obi, visited her in the hospital on 27 May, debunking reports then that Dora had died.

Dora made national mark during her tenure as NAFDAC DG.

She also contested for a seat in the Senate on the platform of APGA in her state of Anambra. But she narrowly lost the seat to Chris Ngige of the All Progressives Congress.

National attention was drawn to her illness when she appeared, unrecognised as a delegate at the ongoing National Conference. She had lost weight and her effervescent self.

Reports at that time said the emaciated woman had to introduce herself to fellow delegates.

MAN TRIES TO TRAVEL-OUT WITH VISA ATM CARD

Pandemonium occurred at the International wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport yesterday as an Ijebu man(name withheld) and his family were barred from boarding an Air France flight to London.

According to eye witnesses, all seemed to be well with the said family and other passengers as they queued to check in around 4:45pm, until the man raised his voice at the airline officials over him not having the necessary traveling documents, especially a United Kingdom Visa.

Before he was whisked away by security agents, FNN was made to understand that he and his family intended to fly to London with a Visa ATM card as opposed to the needed Visa travel document showing permission to enter a foreign country.

Further discussion with his wife disclosed that he had sold their house and their few properties to secure the flight tickets for both of them and their two children and was told by a friend that all he needs for them to travel to London in his quest of greener pastures is a Visa.

Realising on a TV advert that Access bank Visa card can be used in United Kingdom, the Ijebu man subsequently opened accounts for all of them and they were issued the said Visa ATM-Cards.

When quizzed by FNN, the obviously aggrived man was quick to respond that he’ll sue Access Bank for ‘gross breach of trust and consequently Sly-ism’.

FNN wishes to use this medium to enlighten Ijebu people and other Nigerians as required that the Visa ATM cards issued by banks are not the Visa authority needed to travel to foreign countries but the endorsed stamps and certificates issued by the respective embassies/high commissions or their authorised offices.

FNN and well meaning Unionists and human rights activists plead with Air France to refund their ticket money, if the family cannot secure an official UK Visa.

Radar broke the story: After Rob arrived in Paris for Kim‘s wedding, the siblings got into a heated argument in which the sex tape star accused her brother of leaking negative stories about her to the media.

Adding insult to injury, the source claims Kim also hurt Rob’s feelings by bringing up his weight.

“Kim and Rob haven’t been speaking to each other for months…she thinks he is lazy, and bringing down the family name because of his physical appearance. After arriving in Paris, Rob and Kim got into a very heated argument because she thought he was just moping around the hotel. She encouraged him to go out and sight see, which he declined to do,” the source previously told Radar.

“This made her extremely angry, and they exchanged words. During the course of the argument, Rob was accused by Kim of leaking negative stories about her to the press. That was the final straw for Rob, because that is something he would never do.”

World Cup: Football fans should be vigilant – Military

Major General Chris Olukolade, Director of Defence Information, on Monday advised fans and owners of viewing centres to be vigilant during world cup football tournament.

Olukolade gave the advice at a Joint Security News Conference organised by the National Information Centre, Abuja.

Recalling the explosion at a bar in Mubi, Adamawa, on Sunday, Olukolade urged the fans and citizens to always take notice of strange persons or objects around them.

He also advised them to report strange objects to security agencies for prompt action to forestall untoward incidents.

Olukolade said a key suspect in the explosion which rocked the bar, had been arrested.

He confirmed that 18 people died while 19 sustained in injuries the explosion.

He said military operations were being intensified in the North East and other areas where there were crises.

Olukolade said troops in crisis areas of Benue killed five terrorists, recovered riffles and two vehicles when they engaged troops during routine patrols.

According to him, security agencies were working round the clock and sharing information with their foreign partners in the effort to rescue the kidnapped school girls.

He, however, appealed to the media and citizens to be moderate in their speculations and conclusions on efforts to rescue the girls.

Olukolade said such speculations were not helping the operations.

There would be no more protest in Abuja for the kidnapped Chibok girls. The protests by supporters of more than 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram have been banned in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, police said on Monday.

Federal Capital Territory police spokeswoman Altine Daniel confirmed the ban in a text message to AFP, saying the decision was taken “because of security reasons”.

Chelsea Handler's Talk Show Chelsea Lately Officially Ending in August After Seven Years

All good things must come to an end! Chelsea Handler's talk show Chelsea Lately is officially coming to an end.

E! said in a statement released on Wednesday, May 28, that the irreverent talk show will air its final episode live on August 26.

To celebrate the show, and its seven-year long run, there will be a month-long celebration of special episodes and surprise guests, the network said.

"I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years," the 39-year-old comedian and BFF to dozens of celebs said in a statement.

True to her humor, she added, "I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went."

Handler's next step has not been revealed, but she's been rumored to be in the running to replace Craig Ferguson, who is set to leave CBS' Late Late Show at the end of the year.
