Adaeze Yobo Tells All In A New Interview About Her Love Story

Former beauty queen Adaeze Yobo in a new interview with The Sun revealed how she met hubby Joseph Yobo and why she got married so early. Read and enjoy every bit of their love story.
I met him in Nigeria through a friend at an event. From there, we became close friends. I became pregnant and we got married immediately. Everything happened in a very short time. A lot of people thought it wasn’t going to work but at that moment, I knew I felt something I had never felt with anyone in my life and I said to myself, why not take that chance? I’m quite prayerful , so I knew there’s no way I could err, though I never planned getting married so early. I had so many dreams of what I wanted in life. Marriage was the last thing on my mind. It happened so fast and I thought I should give it a shot.

On what attracted her to him

When we first met, I didn’t know who he is really. He didn’t know that I was the most beautiful girl in Nigeria. When I knew he was a footballer, I said to myself this relationship might not work or lead us anywhere, because of the lifestyle of some footballers who have so many girlfriends.

On any regrets marrying him

Not at all. No marriage can ever be perfect. Even my relationship with my mum can never be perfect. I have never regretted any moment with my husband and I always say to my sisters and cousins that I don’t know what I could have been without my husband. I wondered the kind of man I would have ended up with if I didn’t marry him. I thank God that He planned my life and I’m living the life He planned for me. God has been gracious to me in every way.

Joan Rivers Laid To Rest In Style Amidst Tears, Humour And A Standing Ovation

Everyone's favourite lady and comedian Joan Rivers was laid to rest yesterday. The memorable event was attended by top shots and fans of the late Fashion Police host.
According to Dailymail, legion of notables shows up at New York's Temple Emanu-El to remember the legend, who died at 81 on Thursday. Among the crowds: Kathy Griffin, Whoopie Goldberg, Howard Stern
In her book, the comedic star revealed that she hoped for 'a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action'
Scores of fans, friends and family visited Joan Rivers' apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side on Friday following her death
Autopsy found no cause of death pending additional tests as New York medical examiner continues to investigate
The NYPD is now also investigating the death of the comedienne
Rivers' daughter Melissa said a heartbreaking goodbye to her mother on Saturday. Even in death, Joan Rivers got what she wanted: A star-studded funeral.

On Sunday morning, a legion of notables turned out at New York's Temple Emanu-El to remember Rivers, who died Thursday at 81: Kathy Griffin, whose edgy, biting comedy career was largely made possible by Rivers; colleague and friend Kelly Osbourne; Sarah Jessica Parker and Whoopi Goldberg; Howard Stern.
Theater stars Bernadette Peters, Alan Cumming and Tommy Tune were there. Record producer Clive Davis arrived, too. Fashion designers Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors were there.
Stars from TV such as Barbara Walters, Geraldo Rivera, Diane Sawyer, Kathie Lee, Hoda Kotb and Andy Cohen. And moguls Barry Diller, Donald Trump and Steve Forbes.

Inside Temple Emanu-El, the stars were treated to a performance by the New York City Gay Men's Chorus singing 'irreverent, fun songs,' an insider told MailOnline.
Howard Stern opened proceedings with jokes about the effects of aging on parts of Rivers' body - not unlike jokes Rivers herself has made - then grew serious as he spoke of his affection for Rivers, describing her as his 'hero.'
He called Rivers the 'best friend in the world,' a 'big sister' and the 'crazy aunt at a Bar Mitzvah,' People reported.
'I hope Joan is somewhere right now chasing Johnny Carson with a baseball bat,' he said, referring to the feud between 'The Tonight Show' host and Rivers that began when she became the first woman to be offered her own late night show.

Mourners exited the church to the sound of 'New York, New York' on bagpipes.
The comedian detailed in her 2012 book 'I Hate Everyone ... Starting With Me' that she hoped for 'a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action' and 'Hollywood all the way.'
Instead of a rabbi talking, Rivers asked for 'Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents' and 'a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce's.'

In her book, Rivers joked that dying of natural causes was boring. 'It's the grand finale, act three, the eleven o'clock number — make it count. If you're going to die, die interesting! Is there anything worse than a boring death? I think not.'

The star's funeral comes on the heels of a revelation that the New York Police Department is investigating the death of Rivers.
Her funeral was anything but boring — just how she wanted it.
Goldberg, wearing a choir-like robe with different color shoes, waved a cheering crowd 4,500 -strong as she walked in.

Donald Trump caused a stir when he came in. His daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband were there, too.
'Getting ready to pay final respect to GREAT LADY Joan Rivers,' Donald Trump tweeted. 'She could light up a room like no other! She will be greatly missed.'

Mourners lined up outside the Fifth Avenue synagogue and waited for their names to be checked against a list before entering.
At one point, a silver car believed to belong to actor Matthew Broderick — and that was parked right in front of the church — had to be unlocked by a policewoman and was towed away.
Barricades lined several blocks of Manhattan's Fifth Avenue, and a crowd of fans and media stood watch across the street.

'Joan's relationship with her daughter Melissa really drew my family to her,' said Marisa Bryant, 32, of New York City. 'She had that added bonus of being such a strong force of comedy.
'It's a real testament that all these people are here for her.'

Another onlooker, 72-year-old Carolyn Jordan, said, 'She made me laugh. I admired her tenaciousness and going strong at 81. Joan made people so happy.'

On Saturday, Rivers' only daughter Melissa said a heartbreaking goodbye to her mother kissing her casket and holding back tears.
The touching moment between Melissa and the comedy legend came just before Rivers was transported to a New Jersey crematorium.
Melissa covered her mouth to prevent herself from crying uncontrollably as she bent over the mahogany coloured casket and said her final goodbye outside Frank E. Campbell funeral home on the Upper East Side.
Her son, Cooper, 13, was right by her side comforting her before the black hearse pulled away.
Cooper could be seen placing his hand on his mom’s back and she lovingly touched him on the cheek.
The pair also attended the service together - hand in hand.

An autopsy that has been performed on Rivers failed to find a cause of death pending additional tests.
It has been reported that before going in for surgery, the Fashion Police co-host got a clean bill of health from her doctors and appeared to be in good physical condition.

TMZ reported that the medical facility has been receiving death threats from Rivers' angry fans since her hospitalization last Thursday.
One of the menacing massages stated: 'If Joan dies, so will you.'
Another supporter of the beloved comic allegedly said: 'I hope you people die, you killed an icon.'
In light of the hostility, the clinic has hired additional security guards and has been sending employees home early.

Heartbreaking: Joan Rivers, Comedy Pioneer and TV Host, Dies at 81

Joan Rivers, a pioneering female stand-up comic and the queen of "Can We Talk?" gossip, has died, her daughter, Melissa Rivers, said Thursday. She was 81.

Rivers was undergoing surgery on her vocal cords at a clinic in New York City on Aug. 28 when she stopped breathing and had to be transported to Mount Sinai Hospital. Melissa Rivers and Joan Rivers' 13-year-old grandson, Cooper, who live in Malibu, California, rushed to her bedside.

"My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh," Melissa Rivers said in a statement. "Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."
Raspy-voiced and brassy, Rivers was always self-deprecating, foul-mouthed and politically incorrect. A master of reinvention, she endured in show business because of her tenacious work ethic — which she credited to her "immigrant mentality."

Comedians typically push the edge of the envelope, but Rivers proved time and again that she didn't even see the envelope. To her fans, she was as shocking as she was endearing.

"The way she is funny, she tells the truth according to herself," the late film critic Roger Ebert wrote in 2010. "She hates some people. She has political opinions. Her observations are so merciless and her timing so precise that even if you like that person, you laugh. She is a sadist of comedy, unafraid to be cruel — even too cruel."
No topic was off limits. From Elizabeth Taylor to Queen Elizabeth to even Anne Frank, Rivers loved going after public figures.

"I mock everybody, regardless of race, creed or color," she told the Toronto Star in July. "Every joke I make, no matter how tasteless, is there to draw attention to something I really care about."

Four years earlier, she explained her no-holds-barred approach to The Times of London: "If you laugh at something, you shrink the dragon."

Her favorite punching bag, though, was always herself. "My mother used to look at me and say: 'Looks don't count. Now, get out of my sight, you big lump.'"
Rivers was the first to mock her facelifts and other plastic surgeries. Her grandson "calls me Nana New Face. And when he was younger, the joke was he had never seen me without bandages. So one time, we saw 'The Return of the Mummy,' and he ran to the TV set and he went, 'Grandma, Grandma.'"

A famously hard-working dynamo, she was nowhere near close to retirement. She worked the red carpets for the MTV Video Music Awards and the Emmys near the end of August and had been scheduled to appear at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, on Aug. 29. She co-hosted "Fashion Police," starred in WE TV's reality series "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" and hosted two online shows, "In Bed With Joan" and "Drunken Celebrity Phone Calls."

A lifelong fashionista, Rivers, with her daughter, began doing the awards red carpet circuit in the mid-1990s on shows for E! and later TV Guide. Her love of all things couture led her to coin another well-known catch phrase: "Who are you wearing?"
The comedian also embraced social media, and that, of course, brought its share of controversy. In 2012, Rivers used Twitter to tell R&B star Rihanna not to go back to Chris Brown after a domestic violence incident, in her own special way: "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."

"I love the Internet, and I love that you can say whatever you want," Rivers told The Boston Globe last November.
Born Joan Alexandra Molinsky on June 8, 1933, to Russian immigrants, Rivers spent her childhood in Brooklyn until her parents moved to upper-class Westchester County, New York. She believed she inherited her sense of humor from her father, who was a doctor. Her mother was a housewife.

"I'm not sure if I was happy. I was the class wit, not the class clown — an important difference," she told The Times of London in 2010.
Because her father threatened to have her committed for being an actress, Rivers studied at Connecticut College and Barnard College, where she earned degrees in English and anthropology. Although her true love remained performing in theater, she worked in retail and fashion after college.

After her first marriage to James Sanger ended in annulment after six months, Rivers decided to become a serious actress. She studied drama and appeared in a few plays, but she was advised by an agent that she should be in comedy. He also advised her to change her name.

Rivers landed her big break in 1965 on "The Tonight Show: Starring Johnny Carson" and released her first comedy album shortly thereafter, "Joan Rivers Presents Mr. Phyllis and Other Funny Stories." In 1983, after frequent appearances on Carson's "Tonight Show," she was designated the first permanent guest host, a prestigious role that broke down barriers for women in comedy.
Married to British TV producer Edgar Rosenberg at the time — after a four-day courtship — Rivers continued to find humor in her own life, making fun of herself as a "fat kid" or a flat-chested housewife. Eventually she landed her own vehicle, "The Show With Joan Rivers," in 1968 — the same year her only daughter, Melissa, was born. The show lasted two years.

In 1972, Rivers moved to Los Angeles, where she wrote a book, "Having a Baby Can Be a Scream," starred in a feature film, "Rabbit Test," and co-created a TV series, "Husbands, Wives, and Lovers," for CBS. She was living in a mansion in Bel-Air and headlining shows at Carnegie Hall, and she was the highest-paid entertainer in Las Vegas.

By then, her "Can We Talk?" catch phrase was known throughout America. She was on top of the world until Fox offered Rivers her own talk show airing opposite "The Tonight Show" in 1986. Carson never spoke to her again and banned her from the show. Jimmy Fallon was the first person to allow her to return during his first episode as host this year.

Her Fox show, "The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers," was short-lived. The network fired Rivers and her husband when she challenged the decision to fire him from his job as a producer on the show. Then, in 1987, Rosenberg committed suicide, devastating the comedian. Rivers became bulimic and estranged from her daughter, and she contemplated suicide herself.

"I had no choice but to come out of it, because of Melissa," Rivers told The Sunday Times in 2006.

A year later, she moved to New York City and landed a role in Neil Simon's "Broadway Bound," for which she received rave reviews. In 1988, she launched "The Joan Rivers Show" with her co-host, her little dog Spike. In 1990, she won a Daytime Emmy for Best Talk Show Host.

In the next decade, Rivers continued to experiment with other TV show formats and began selling jewelry on QVC. She reconciled with Melissa, and the pair starred in a movie that dramatized their lives and sparked their partnership on E! as red carpet and fashion commentators. Rivers also won a Tony Award for her role in "Sally Marr and Her Escorts."

Since then, Rivers appeared on several TV shows, such as "Suddenly Susan" and "Nip/Tuck" and "Celebrity Apprentice," headlined in Las Vegas and wrote 12 books. Her last, "Diary of a Mad Diva," was published this year.

"I'm terrified if it looks like nobody wants me," Rivers told The Toronto Star in July. "How long will that go on? Forever. In our business, you never know. ... And it's not the money. I joke about that enough but that isn't what drives me. I love the performing. I love the work."

In recent years, death came up a lot in Rivers' interviews and jokes as she coped with the loss of good friends. The night before she was hospitalized, Rivers did an hour of stand-up at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, where she joked, according to the New York Daily News: "I'm 81 — I could go at any moment. I could fall over right here and you all could say, 'I was there!'"

She told The Times of London four years ago that she "would not want to live if I could not perform. It's in my will. I am not to be revived unless I can do an hour of stand-up. I don't fear it."

May her happy, lively and jovial soul rest in peace. Just so sad!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Family Wedding Album Appears In A Top Magazine

When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went about planning their big day, they didn't have to look far to find the perfect wedding planners: their six children.

The intimate Aug. 23 ceremony – attended by just 20 friends and family members – was held in the chapel of Château Miraval, the family's estate in the French village of Correns. The wedding – including exclusive photos of the ceremony, Jolie's unique dress (decorated with her children's artwork!) and the entire family's celebration – is featured in this week's issue of PEOPLE, in conjunction with Hello! magazine internationally.

Each child had a key role to play: Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents' vows. And Pax baked the cake!

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, tell PEOPLE. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

Even Jolie's dress was an expression of her kids' creativity: Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed dozens of designs from her children's drawings into the dress and veil.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," says Jolie. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

Pitt wore a suit from his closet – with a tie borrowed from one of his sons because Pitt forgot to pack his. Zahara's dress was designed by family friend Adama Kebe. Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, and Knox wore black suits (Shiloh's included shorts and a top hat), and Vivienne wore a white dress from her closet. Jeweler Robert Procop, who designed Jolie's engagement ring, created the couple's wedding bands.

Top Ghanian Actors In Gay Fight

Ghanaian Actors Email Nana Wood, aka ‘Tonardo, and Umar Krupp have been speculated as gay lovers though no evidence has been provided to back the claim.

The two had been speculated to be gays several times, and the fact that they are often seen together may be the reason of the speculation.

News-One' called Tonardo over the matter and put the question on whether or not the speculation were true, and he said he may have to seek legal action soon to end the speculation and that he was only waiting for a scapegoat.

“Umar is my buddy-buddy, and we do a lot of things in secret and the open, but the things we do never involve homosexual stuff. I have heard these nonsense talks but they are just nonsense talks, and that is that,” Tonardo explained.

He however did not deny that Umar recently fought with someone at the Accra Mall because the person had openly accused Tonardo of being gay.

“Look, I am not gay and I don’t know how many times I should repeat this. If you want me to stop wearing rings on my face before you believe I am not gay, then you better stop hoping because I won’t stop wearing rings all over my body.

Which gay has a daughter? I have a daughter, and I would be making more soon to show,” Tonardo added.

Umar recently came out publicly to clear the air that he is not a homosexual and that people should not misjudge him because of the gay role he played in a movie.

In a recent interview with Trailer TV, Umar said he had received amorous proposals from a very popular man who wanted to lure him into homosexual activities but turned him down and reported the act to his mother.
