Jayz Gives Out Famous Chain To J. Cole

Jayz sure has a large heart when it comes too giving. He almost drove J. Cole crazy with excitement during his birthday performance on tuesday. Jayz told him to keep the diamond chain necklace which he loaned from him as a gift.

J. Cole couldn't hide his joy when Jayz pointed to his neck and said , "That on your neck is my original roc chain--and it's yours"
This is the same chain Jayz first had when he started Roc-A-Fella record label in the 90s.

Toni Payne Says She Never Cheated On 9ice

A couple of years after Toni Payne's marriage with 9ice ended, she has finished cleared the air on what really happened. For a long time people have spread rumours about Toni's cheating with a popular rapper being the reason for their breakup. None of the parties involved ever denied or confirmed the story until yesterday when Toni did on her blog http://tonipayneonline.com told us all that really went down.

I have learned over the years that you pick your battles. I have also learned that it is wise to ignore certain things, but when that certain thing is something that could impact another being negatively, then I would be doing a disservice by ignoring. I woke up this morning to a tweet by a twitter follower of mine (blazingpearl). She had retweeted a friend who retweeted a quote that was supposedly said by me.

Apparently some blogs are touting the idea that I am ok with cheating. “Toni Payne Said, do not leave a cheating man” Toni payne said its ok to cheat”. I have NEVER in any way shape or form, condoned cheating. It is hurtful, wrong, can be dangerous and I do not advise anybody male or female to cheat on their mate. I know different people used different headlines to address my tweets. I am only referring to those blogs whose headlines on twitter said I was ok with cheating. To those who quoted me without saying I was ok with cheating. Thanks for staying within the professional lines. My tweets were about self love. We cant deny that not everyone leaves a cheating spouse. The point I was trying to make was, if you decide to stay, please work on loving yourself instead of being miserable because your man is creeping. That is IF you decide to stay. I am not here to judge anyone who wants to stay with a cheating spouse, we all know what we can endure in life and we all know what makes us ok as individuals.

I felt like tweeting advise that may or may not help someone that may be going through some difficult times. You never know who is reading and I feel some words I have stumbled on have helped me too so why not. I really don’t want to stop tweeting advice because of some mischievous few, but misconstruing my words on such a sensitive topic is irresponsible. Even if you no send me, send your readers naa. All na public service abeg abeg. I enjoy my simple life and I don’t need the extras. How many times have they posted that “Toni Payne is achieving this” upon all the things I have done this year alone. My podcast has been doing very well in Naija and America, they wont write about that… na to put bad bad tin. God pass you jor.. lol…I digress!

I talk about my experience because that is what I have to share. I can not speak about someone else’s opinion or experience. Only mine!. Because I chose not to harbor hate in my heart does not mean I have not moved on. On the contrary, it means I have moved on perfectly fine. I do not need to come on the public spare shouting up and down that I am in a relationship or posting another mans picture everywhere before people realize that I have let the past go. Letting the past go does not mean you cant speak about it. It doesn’t mean you can’t use it to advise others. Speaking about your experience in life does not mean you are dwelling on it. It doesn’t mean you are insecure, foolish, or you dont know what you are doing. It simply means, you are wiser, and wisdom is a lot of times earned via learning from experience.

I don dey talk long but to the initial point i wish to address, to those who still believe I cheated on my ex. I am sorry to disappoint you, I NEVER cheated on my ex hubby. Its not who I am, it will never be who I am. Tell yourself 1 million times, Toni Payne cheated, it will never make it true. Nobody caught me in any lie, or in any bad situation, nobody slept with anyone he was close to. Yall need to put a full stop to that bullshit. Its old!. Sometimes, men want their freedom, and the fact is you cant force them to stay. Same goes for women. Everyone wont have a perfect relationship, not everyone will stay married forever, we can only aspire to. Even those that have been married 10 years and are busy judging others, do you know your tomorrow? naaaa you sure don’t so curb it abeg. We can only pray, work, and hope for a good union.
Anyways To address this my ex said this or that issue. Let me just say He has NEVER for once opened his mouth to accuse me of cheating. He has NEVER for once opened his mouth to accuse me of sleeping with anyone he knows. If awon alaiye baje wanna use our situation then to sell their crap, how is that my fault? The same media controlling the remote to say I think cheating is ok, are the same who controlled the remote back then to say his song was about me. Nobody ever called him to verify or ask before publishing. Ill admit that we both did not handle the situation well back then, It was the first time we would experience such. The tension was plenty and emotions were everywhere. We should have sorted it privately. which we did try to do but one rubbish headline and emotions go buckwild again.

I don’t wanna sound like I am defending him, cos he is responsible for himself, but in all fairness to him, and because I have a conscience that serves me well, not for once did he tweet, fb, email, interview anything of the sort. Our issues had absolutely nothing to do with what the media were speculating. People took a song he did and turned it upside down. My crew MIXED AND MASTERED the song. If it was about me, why would I allow him release it. God gave all of us sense naa.. Some just chose not to use theirs and chose to believe anything they read even when the facts are there to sort through. The only thing I have blamed him for, was not coming out on time to refute the claims and allowing it to escalate to that level, he has since apologized SEVERALLY, we have discussed it privately as we should have from the jump. I have accepted and moved on. I have also apologized for losing my cool on twitter, he has since accepted and moved on. Really, what more is there. I am not sure what people want from me. Should I hate him forever? Should I tie him to a post and flog him mercilessly? Should I be a wicked person and deprive him of his son? If I remain bitter and upset, please what value will it add to my life? Wo, my life is much more simpler than all this. Those who know me well, know this. Those that dont understand me are the ones who will be forever outside looking in, speculating crap. I am truly tired of this topic but since it seems to keep popping up, i felt it is best to finally address it properly. If anyone decides to hang on to the lie after this, that is their own cup of tea. I have a talk show to record, poetry to write and a child to raise. I don talk my own. FIN!.. If you catch any typos or errors.. take it like that. I wrote it as is…straight from the heart.. I know most who carried the headline have no conscience and wont bother appending but if anyone choses to take my post and misconstrue that one too, I leave you to God.. no be chere kambia..Se Fini

  • Whitney died on February 11, 2012, after years of battling drug addiction
Gazing into each other’s eyes, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown sway on the dancefloor as they celebrate their wedding in a haunting video that only serves to highlight just how tragic their union was to become.
It is footage that will be both difficult and inspiring for daughter Bobbi Kristina to watch as she admits she is still struggling to recover from her mother's death in a revealing interview with feted documentary maker Daphne Barak, who unearthed the video.
As Whitney the bride regally embraces a line of children at the ceremony, all dressed in white and playing classical music with small violins, Bobbi, now 20 and married only weeks ago, tells Daphne: ‘She WAS royal. People don’t know that about her…I called her My Royal Woman’.

EXCLUSIVE: New footage of Whitney Houston's wedding
Indeed, as they croon to each other at the lavish wedding on July 18, 1992, Whitney and Bobby - who were very much considered music's odd couple at the time - look every inch royalty, with Bobby even teasingly wearing one Whitney’s earrings.
The wedding, held at Whitney’s $10million home in Mendham, New Jersey, was an excessive affair, attended by a guest list of 800 – a figure Brown was later to sigh was ‘too much'.
Both the bride and groom wore white, with Whitney’s dress created out of French lace by Mark Bouwer and costing $40,000, and the wedding party dressed  in shades of purple, the star’s favourite colour.
It is all a far cry from the circumstances of how Whitney’s life would end on February 11, 2012, after she was found dead in a bathtub at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, aged just 48.
The couple had divorced in 2006 following a fiery and very public marriage.
Since the death of Whitney, one of the world’s biggest singing stars in her heyday before she spiralled into a desperate addiction to crack cocaine, Bobbi now has only her memories of her beloved mother to cling on to.
Now living in Atlanta with her husband and De facto step-brother Nick Gordon, Bobbi makes it clear that both she and Nick considered Whitney their mom, insisting: ‘Our mom was royal.'
While Nick, 24, whom Whitney moved into her home about 10 years before her death after learning his mother could no longer care for him, tells Daphne: ‘She was my mom too!’
Confirming their marriage earlier this month, Bobbi - who has said Whitney would have wanted their union - adds: ‘Our mom taught us to be royal. We are different.
‘There is royalty in our veins. She taught us how to move, how to talk. We want you to know, that where we come front, WE are royals, because SHE was royal.’

‘She used to call me ‘Stina,’ Bobbi tells Daphne as it becomes clear that time is not helping the grief-stricken daughter: ‘I miss her like hell. She taught me everything. Now I’m working on my career, but also on myself.
‘I’m working on learning how to be a woman without the woman who taught me to be a woman.’
Referring to the star she also called ‘Lioness’ because of her Leo birth sign, Bobbi says the upcoming anniversary of her mother’s death makes her realise just how much people did not really know Whitney.
‘People did not know her’, she tells Daphne: ‘They write things. But for me, she wasn’t Whitney Houston.'
Dedicated to embarking on a music career like her mother, she says: ‘I am the only one who can sing her songs like she did. She always said that if they would make a film about her, only I could play her.
‘She taught me how to sing Acapella. She taught me that singing Acapella would make my voice stronger and stronger. She taught me Gospel, she taught me for 18 years how to be royal, how to be her daughter, a woman…I am very proud of her.’
On the video, images of the reception filled with candles and lavender and white orchid arrangements alongside an 18-layer cake flash up on screen, as A-list guests ranging from Donald Trump to Whitney’s aunt Dionne Warwick and even P Diddy, can be seen sipping Cristal and Dom Perignon champagne.

Stooping to thank the line of children musicians, Whitney tells them: ‘Thank-you, thank-you for the treat…come, give me a kiss.'
As Daphne asks what Bobbi would want the world to know about Whitney, Bobbi pauses: ‘That she had a heart, you could not fall in love with her. Even if she cast you off - she so lovable.’
Bobbi is now awaiting the first $1.2million from her the $12million estate her mother left her to claim by the time she’s 30.
Sadly, it is patently clear just how much Whitney and Bobby were thrilled to be expecting baby Bobbi.
The couple had met at the Soul Train Music Awards in 1989 and in an interview on their marriage in Vanity Fair in December 1992, Whitney, then three-months pregnant, prophesised: ‘I think it’s a girl…’

The couple kissed and Brown patted Whitney’s stomach, adding: ‘I’m gonna spoil that baby girl….I want presents. Lots of presents. Shoes and dresses and diamonds and all that for her.’
‘You want everything, baby’, Whitney replied….’We’ll see, we’ll see.’
More of the 25-minute wedding video will be aired globally next month in a Daphne Barak special.
Filmmaker Daphne, who was also on hand to watch some of Amy Winehouse’s tragic last days in St Lucia, tells MailOnline: ‘When I saw Whitney in the video she looked like Princess Diana, so regal. In her imagination, she was royal and Bobby was her prince.

Oshiomhole’s lifeline for Edo 690 widows

This is a very kind gesture by the comrade governor. Wish more governors would empower the masses.

According to reports by the sun news.
For women in Edo, especially the widows among them, there is something to cheer about. Only recently, the state government donated life-changing equipment that would take them from the trough they have found themselves, through no fault of theirs. The state government distributed sewing machines and grinding machines worth millions of naira to 690 elated widows.

The Oshiomhole administration embarked on the distribution of empowerment items, as economic boost for the widows, who found themselves at the receiving end of bad economy and questionable cultural beliefs that do not provide for their welfare after losing their spouses. The state government’s intervention is like manna from heaven.

The presentation, Governor Adams Oshiomhole said, had nothing to do with his encounter with a widow late last year, to whom the governor apologised. The governor also gave the widow N2 million to start life anew. The governor spoke to the in pidgin English, the medium which the beneficiaries understand very well.

He said: “It is very, very clear that what we are doing today, we are not doing it because of that incident. Because some of you may remember that in 2012, we actually provided some empowerment to widows, even though the numbers might not have been up to this number. It is it my conviction that if I give you N5, 000.00 or N10, 000.00 or indeed, any amount of money or throw at you, a bag of rice, a piece of meat to eat during Christmas or Sallah, all that does not translate to empowerment.”

“I know when you get grinding machine for village, some people go come dem wan grind pepper or cassava. The small money dem go pay people go make life go on. So who get grinding machine carry go home, if na N10 the person pay to grind pepper or tomatoe, if he get 100 people in a day how much be that one? He go don make like N500. So na small, small, who get sewing machine, who want to sew clothes, as I see all of you here now dis clothes wey una wear, wey make everybody look fine, even me self, I fine today well well, abi no bi so?”  the  governor said.

Oshiomhole’s assistant in charge of Special Duties and Emergencies, Hajia Maimuna Momodu, also addressed the beneficiaries.  She said the presentation of such life-changing equipment would also take place in October this year.

According to her, “even when a woman has the comfort of a husband to fall back on, it is difficult enough trying to cope with everyday needs. It is better imagined what she goes through in her attempt to meet these same needs alone. Describing the experience as harrowing or traumatic is simply an understatement. We know for sure that many women have had to suffer terribly just trying to provide daily needs. It goes without saying that widows need all the help they can find to live a more meaningful life.

“Today, we are gathered here not because we have the means to totally erase the trauma associated with widowhood but as the saying goes in the local parlance: At all, at all, na im bad. Indeed, I want to assure you that this government understands and share your pains. More than that, it is a government that is very willing to do the needful in order to ameliorate the very difficult challenges you face everyday.

“Today, our state government thought it wise to share with you, the little that is available. Certainly, it is not a handout that will suffice for just one day because handouts will not help you on the long run. What it is trying to do is to empower you with the means to become self-sufficient in order to be able to provide everyday needs for yourselves.

“So every year, we will be doing it this year by the second quarter around October or November. We will do another edition of this widow empowerment programme so that gradually, everybody will get one after the other because who help person when he need, na im believe in God. Wetin we do from our heart with our hand na im go show whether we fear God or we no fear God no bi wetin person take mouth talk,” Momoh said.

While thanking the governor, one of the beneficiaries, Ms. Osumah, said: “We wish to express our profound gratitude for this great honour you have done to us and for us today for thinking it wise to invite women who have lost their husbands. Not only did you feed us yesterday but today, you are about to give to some of us things that will put smiles on our faces. With this, we say thank you sir.”

Another widow, Mrs. Felica Abike said: “When my husband died, I suffered so much. So I started selling wrappers because am a tailor. I suffered a lot from one market to another with a baby at my back and holding another one. If I did not sell, I will cry till daybreak, I will call my husband that since he died, we did not eat. So, as the Comrade Governor has called us now, he has wiped the tears on my eyes. On behalf of the women, God will continue to bless you in the name of Jesus.

“The only man who has made Edo State what it is, is our Comrade Governor; long may you live. God will continue to bless you. I have no other work to do but to pray for you. I want every widow to assure me here, I want all of us to pray for Adams Oshiomhole,” she said.

Kanye West 'settles case with Beverly Hills assault victim for $250,000'

The 18 years old boy Kanye West assaulted after Kim called him to report the insults and threats by a boy who after helping her chase the paparazzi turned around to backlash in a store she visited. Kanye rushed to the scene and beat up the guy.

News from the desk of Dailymail  below says,

Kanye West has reportedly paid $250,000 to a man who accused him of beating him up.

The 36-year-old rapper became the focus of a battery investigation after he reportedly chased the 18-year-old into a chiropractor's office and punched him after the teen apparently hurled racial slurs at Kanye's fiancé.

However, TMZ reports the duo have now come to an agreement and Kanye has paid $250,000 to the man who no longer wishes to go ahead with prosecution.

Settled: Kanye West has reportedly paid $250,000 to the man he is accused of beating up in Beverly Hills earlier this month
While the District Attorney has not yet decided whether to charge Kanye with battery, if he does go

ahead it will be harder to prove his guilt without a willing witness.

TMZ also reports the alleged racial abuse by the victim means jurors won’t mean sympathetic to him.

Accuser: This is the man who accused Kanye of beating him up and allegedly settled the case for $250,000
While Kanye has not spoken out on the claims, his soon to be mother-in-law Kris Jenner appeared to confirm the reports of the incident during an interview on Australia's 2DayFM Breakfast Show earlier this month.

After hosts Jules Lund, Merrick Watts, Sophie Monk and Mel B gave Kris a rundown of the incident, saying, 'Kanye assaulted an 18-year-old man by punching him in the face. He was defending Kim,' she replied, 'Well, that sounds like, a lot like what I heard.'

Kris added: 'I do know that how it started was this person got really a lot of racial, hateful, horrible things that he was saying. Apparently many times. Very hateful person. And I think that’s where it started. I’m not quite sure how it ended.'

However, she admitted she has not spoken to her 33-year-old daughter or Kanye since the incident occurred.

'I got wind of this last night because I'd been out of town, and I've literally been doing some press all day today and have not been home so I haven’t talked to anybody to give you a better update,' she said.

'But I think that what happened was that somebody got really out of line.'

Meanwhile, a source told RadarOnline that Kim is 'proud of Kanye' for sticking up for her.

The insider said: 'Kim loves that her man is protecting her. Unlike [her ex-husband] Kris Humphries, whom she never felt had her back, Kim is telling people that Kanye is a real man.'

The dramatic altercation allegedly unfolded two weeks ago Kim ran into the man when he held the door for her so she could walk into a furniture showroom in Beverly Hills - just before midday today.

'As Kim walked in, the guy allegedly said, 'F**k these fa**ot-ass n****rs' referring to the paparazzi,' TMZ reported.

The reality star told the young man that the N-word was not appropriate to use.

That's when the teenager turned on the TV star, screaming, 'F**k you bitch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n****r lover, stupid slut.'

A perturbed Kardashian allegedly phoned Kanye to tell him what was happening.

Then, according to TMZ, 'when the guy realised Kanye was on the phone he allegedly said, 'F**k you N****r.' - so that the rap star could hear.

However, just minutes later, an enraged Kanye arrived to meet up with Kim.

They stormed into the office and reportedly found the teen sitting there. 'Witnesses say Kanye punched the guy and Kim screamed, 'We have it all on tape'.

MailOnline has reached out to West's lawyer for comment.

Moving on: It is unclear if the DA will press charges against Kanye but without a willing victim to speak out, the case would be harder to prove

Nadia And Her Loving Mum

Ghanian actress and Nollywood actor Jim Iyke's lady love is presently on vacation abroad with her mum. The actress has been posting photos of her beautiful look alike mum online  and with different captions about her mum being her sister and best friend.
They look so pretty and happy together. They have also been wearing matching outfits. I bet they are having so much fun together.
