Peaches Geldof Reportedly Died From a Heroin Overdose - Just Like Her Mother Paula

Another young life cut short by drug abuse. Just like her mother died, Peaches Geldof has also cut her life short. According to lifeandstylemag.com, Peaches death just like her mum's is a case of history repeating itself.

The 25-year-old mother-of-two was discovered on April 7 at her family home in Kent, England. Police reports pronounced her death 'non-suspicious.' Now, however, UK newspaper The Times has reported it expects her death to be confirmed as a heroin overdose later today.

The paper also reports police discovered no evidence of drug paraphernalia in the house, suggesting the house may have been searched and items removed before their arrival.

If this is accurate, the sad incident seems a horrible echo of her mother Paula Yates' death in 2000, aged 41, after an accidental overdose.

Peaches, daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, was notoriously wild during her teenage years, and was questioned by police in 2008 after being seen offering money to a drug dealer.

Her unexpected death seems all the more tragic as, according to friends, she seemed more settled than ever after her marriage to musician Thomas Cohen and the birth of her two sons Astala and Phaedra.
Eleven-month-old Phaedra was said to be in the house with his mother at the time of her death.

So Adorable! Nike Oshinowo Introduces Her Twins on Hello! Nigeria

Read and check out photos of former beauty queen Nike Oshinowo and her adorable twins as written by Bellanaija.com.

In October 2013 , BN was first to exclusively report that ex-Miss Nigeria Nike Oshinowo welcomed twins – a boy and a girl, via a gestational surrogate in the United States of America – read it here.
The 48 year old kept a low profile ever since the delivery. She is regarded as a model, fitness expert, socialite, business woman, ambassador and entrepreneur, but her new title which she absolutely loves, is mother.
In an exclusive heart warming interview with Hello! Nigeria, she introduces her bundles of joy and speaks on details about their birth.
Read Excerpts from the interview;
On keeping them away from the spotlight;
“This is the only interview I’m going to give about it because my children didn’t choose to come into this world or choose to be famous that way. I’m the one who’s famous. My children are not famous. I’m hoping they’re going to be able to live very normal lives.”
On endometriosis
“I’m not supposed to be able to have children. I have endometriosis. I didn’t decide it was time, God decided it was time.”
On having children at 48
“I think one thing you should know with me is that I’ll tell you the truth. If you dare to ask a question, I will answer. The answer might freak you out, but I will answer you as honestly as I can. It can happen to anyone, I’m not special. I’m very close to my creator, and to be close to your creator, you don’t have to go to church or to any special pastor, you just form a one on one relationship with your God.
I was out of my marriage, and I was lying in bed, talking to my God “Okay, so, here I am, is this what you want for me? Please tell me the next step. What am I supposed to do now?” and I fell asleep. As I slept, I felt a tug on the bedding and I open my eyes…
I’m saying you have a choice to choose. I chose to have my children look like the rest of my family. I chose to have my children look like my cousins, the children of my sister, the children of my brother – all the same colour. I did what I needed to do to make that happen. My children bear Oshinowo. It’s a very good surname to have!”
On her ex husband
“The attraction to Dr. Tunde Soleye was his mind. He had and still has amazing mind. I can’t really explain it, but I’m not a highly sexual person and I’ve never been able to be. If you are not, you have to be able to be attracted by other things and he has a phenomenal mind.
Don’t forget I wasn’t 18 or 20 or even twenty-five at the time. I was forty! But I have to say I was very much in love. Was I…guided? More by my heart than my head. Isn’t that nice to be sometimes? Am I embarrassed by that? No. Do I regret it? I don’t. I’m very grateful to have experienced it. It doesn’t happen that often. Would I do it again? Probably not in such a hurry. It took 7 years for me to agree to date him. When I say I wouldn’t do it again in a hurry, I meant I wouldn’t rush into another marriage in a hurry because all the love in the world is still not enough to sustain a marriage. There are other key components.”
She also speaks on how she dealt with the pregnancy, the delivery process, their beautiful names, details about the paternity, and more about the future plans.
Inside the issue, you’ll also get to see more captivating photo shoots in her home and exclusive photos of her gorgeous twins.

What's going on between Tiwa Savage, her hubby and Etcetera?

A few days ago, singer Etcetera published an article on his facebook page, where he out rightly condemned female celebrities for marrying 2nd hand husbands.
Citing celebrity couple Tiwa Savage and Tunji Balogun who got married in Dubai last weekend as examples, he wrote:

“Some days ago I was at a friend's place and was asked by his sisters if I was traveling abroad for the wedding of a colleague that is still being talked about on blogs and on all social networking sites in Nigeria and I said no I wasn't. But what struck me as odd was when one of them asked me "is she getting married to a brand new husband or a 2nd hand husband"? I stared at her in shock and confusion because up until that moment, I had never heard of a phrase as "brand new or 2nd hand husband. It became a heated debate amongst people in the house that day. 'Wow', I never thought a phrase like 2nd hand can be attributed to a human being. I know it is only applicable to objects.

At first I was angry. How could they have said such. But as crazy and odd as it may have sounded, they drew my attention to their observations that it is a trend currently popular amongst female celebrities in Nigeria. How do you determine if a husband is a 2nd hand? I asked myself. I was later told that a man becomes a 2nd hand if he was previously married or is still married to another woman before taking a new wife.

Why do Nigerian female celebrities prefer 2nd hand husbands. Or Why would anyone prefer a 2nd hand husband? But come to think of it, Is it that our female celebrities can no longer afford the luxury of waiting for the brand new ones to come along? Or have the brand new ones refused to be fooled by the razzmatazz or flashy make ups, thick foundations, artificial nails, Brazilian hair and Peruvian eye lashes? Can it be attributed to a thing of choice?
As my Curiosity got the better of me, I asked them for names of female celebrities with 2nd hand husbands. I was shocked beyond recognition that the list they gave me was as long as the distance from mile 2 to Badagry. According to the list, almost all married female celebrity in nigeria has a 2nd hand husband and even some of the female celebrities themselves are 2nd hand. And some of the male celebrities also have 2nd hand wives or they themselves are 2nd hand. Well, if you don't believe me, make a list of your own and be amazed as I am right now.”

Reacting to the article, songstress Tiwa Savage took to her Instagram page a while ago and blasted him.

"You are not in a position to discuss how male artists are gigolos, most of them came after you and by His grace have achieved more And before all you itoosabi come on here saying I am a celebrity And I should expect public scrutiny, that's all well and good if the public have the right information but they don't most of the time I'm off to the beach to show more of my bikini body because I'm married I should turn into a nun Abi, maybe if you worked on your body your husband will not be drooling over me PS don't forget to vote for me at the MTVMAMA awards #dorodiva"

Her husband, Tee Bilz also wrote “I don't owe You Shit so I won't answer to your speculations ECETERA but…please Find Pictures of My First Marriage. Maybe ECETERA Can Help Locate It.”

Nigeria will ‘surely’ free abducted girls – Jonathan

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan Sunday vowed that his government will ensure the release of the 223 schoolgirls abducted by suspected Boko Haram Islamists.

“We promise that anywhere the girls are, we will surely get them out,” Jonathan said in a live radio-television media chat in the nation’s capital Abuja, monitored in Lagos.

“This is a trying time for this country… it is painful,” he said, and pleaded for the cooperation of parents, guardians and the local communities in the rescue efforts.

He said that Nigerians were “justified if they expressed their anger against government” over the perceived slowness in rescuing the girls who were kidnapped from their hostel in Chibok town, in northeast Borno state, on April 14.

He assured that the “disappearance” of the girls will not be another world “mystery.”

“Their disappearance cannot be another mystery the world cannot resolve,” he said, in reference to the Malaysian aircraft that has not been found despite the vast multi-national search deployed.

Nigerian woman gives birth on BA flight to London

A British Airways flight from Abuja to London has had to make an emergency landing on the Spanish island of Palme de Mallorce, after a Nigerian woman gave birth in business class.

Ujunwa Eneh Ozeh, who turned 31 today, went into labour at 36,000 feet while flying to London Heathrow. She was only 26 weeks pregnant.

According to Mail Online, the pilot of the British Airways flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Palme de Mallorce, in the Balearic Islands, where the mother and baby, who has been called Michael, were rushed to the island’s Son Espases hospital.

While Mrs Ozeh will be discharged on Monday, Michael is currently in the intensive care unit and will remain in hospital until August, around his original due date, so he can develop properly.

Mrs Ozeh said: ‘I don’t have any other option than to stay here on the island. My baby needs me to just hang in there for him until it is safe for him to come home with me.’

The mother-of-two was travelling with her one-year-old daughter Nnedinma and was planning to catch a connecting flight from London to Washington, USA, where she was taking the little girl for vacation.

Nnedinma was born in the United States but Mrs Ozeh is insistent she was not returning to the USA to have Micheal.

She said: ‘I was going for the summer, Michael was not due until August, there is no way I would be able to stay in the United States until August. I had a return ticket to Nigeria booked for May 28, so I intended to stay for a few weeks and then go home.’

When her water broke, fellow passengers alerted the cabin crew who put out a call for doctors over the intercom. A female doctor, currently unidentified, was onboard and able to oversee the birth with the help of flight crew, who are trained in birthing procedures.

It used to be the case that a baby born on board a British ship or aircraft would automatically get British citizenship.

This was based on a UN directive aimed at minimising the number of people in the world without a registered state.

However, the British Nationality Act 1981, stated that any such baby, born after January 1, 1983, would not be granted British citizenship unless at least one parent already held it.

Mrs Ozeh said: ‘I just wasn’t thinking that I could be in labour, I couldn’t imagine it. When the doctor told me that the baby was coming I went into total shock, I can’t really remember, I wasn’t able to think clearly.’

Once the plane had touched down, mother and baby were raced to hospital where they are stable.

Mrs Ozeh said: ‘I am fine and healthy and the doctor said that Michael is doing pretty well, that it’s looking good and he is trying to survive.’

Her husband, Kaycee Ozeh, a local businessman in Nigeria, is now scurrying to get a visa so he can travel to be with his wife and children. Mrs Ozeh said she had never thought the baby would come so early, or would not have attempted travelling.

She said: ‘Right now, [Mr Ozeh] doesn’t have a Spanish visa but I need him to come here. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I get out of the hospital, I’m completely in the dark. I need my husband because I don’t know the next step to take.’

Under BA regulations, pregnant woman can fly on their planes until the end of their 36th week, or 32nd week if carrying more than one baby.
