Governor Rabi’u Kwakwanso confirmed his appointment via his Twitter account. “It’s official: the new Emir of Kano is former CBN governor, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi,” @kwankwaso_rabiu tweeted.
Sanusi succeeds the late Alhaji Ado Bayero who died last Friday!
