Fashion Trend: Distressed Jeans

The distressed jeans first surfaced in Hollywood movies in 1930s but it was not popular till the 1950s when it was worn in James Dean's movie 'Rebel without a cause' in 1955. By the year 1980 it had become a house hold name and been designed by High street fashion designers.

The distressed jeans is worn by both men and women. For guys it can be worn with a nice shirt, tshirt, tank top and jacket. Then pair it with sneakers, loafers or drivers for that casual but exquisite look.

Ladies can also wear their pair of the distressed jeans with a top of any fabric, a tshirt, a tank, camisole, corset, shirt and a jacket. It can be worn as a semiformal or casual look depending on how it is paired. Feel free to rock it with any footwear of your choice, ranging from slippers, flat shoes, high heels, sneakers and boots depending on where you are off to. The jeans comes in Boot cut, Boyfriend cut, skinny, straight, baggy, relaxed fit, wide leg and any style you can think of or desire.

Check out photos of celebrities and every day people rocking distressed jeans in different styles.

If you do not already have a pair of distressed jeans, hurry to the store and do not be left behind *wink* it is worth it.
