Nudist activists arrested as they wed in San Francisco!

A woman of the San Francisco Bay Area's nude rights movement wed Thursday near City Hall but it was definitely not your typical wedding ceremony. Both bride and groom, as well as a few guests, were completely nude for most of the ceremony.

Gypsy Taub, the bride in question, has been arrested multiple times for violating San Francisco's public nudity ban.

Taub and a few of the guests received a citation from police for public nudity after the ceremony. That didn’t put a damper on her mood though.

"It was fantastic. It surpassed all my expectations," she said according to the Associated Press. "It was just an awesome party."

The ceremony began on City Hall's steps with bride and groom both starting the ceremony with clothes on. Eventually the pair shed their clothes to complete the ceremony with Taub in only her veil. Taub, 44, and her bridegroom, Jaymz Smith, 20, were escorted off the steps and on to the sidewalk once the couple were announced as man and wife according to SF Gate. 

The newlyweds danced on the sidewalk with several other nude and nearly-nude guests. Police gave the crowd five minutes to put clothes back on before issuing citations for violating the public nudity ban.

Taub continued dancing until the police placed her in a blanket and brought her to a van. She agreed to put her gown back on in exchange for release.

"They were congratulating us on the marriage, and most of them didn't want to arrest us," she said of the cops.
