Nigerians are making us proud and being pace setters. Akintunde Ahmad made headlines this month for scoring a 2100 SAT score, out of 2400, and a 5.0 GPA from Oak Tech High School. He was accepted into numerous ivy-league schools including Yale, Brown and Columbia. He is one of 6 kids and a baseball player from a rasta family.
He was invited by popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres to her show The Ellen DeGeneres show and where she gave him a whooping sum of $15,000 for tuition and miscellaneous.
Akintunde has decided to study at Yale.
